Joe Riederer is a retired science teacher with 40 years of classroom experience and has taught students from middle school through graduate school. Joe received his Bachelor's Degree in Resource Management and his Master's Degree in Science Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. His passion is using photography and writing to increase awareness of the natural world. He is the author of two YA novels that introduce readers to grassland ecosystems; both have been used in classrooms across the Midwest.
