Ashley Hegewald

Ashley Hegewald has a passion for exploring the outdoors! As a FIELD Coach, her goal is to work with teachers and students to enhance existing educational opportunities that connect and engage learners while exploring backyard puddles, local watersheds, nature centers and global environmental issues. Ashley strives to inspire kids of all ages to be creative thinkers and doers, making positive changes in the world around them. She has worked as a secondary science teacher, garden educator, and photographer, and stay at home mother. She also teaches yoga to adults and children. She is committed to working with teachers, students and communities to develop strong, interconnected relationships between people and the natural world.
